The History of Discordia: A Summary
Long has the galaxy of Discordia been a place of civil war. At times it almost seems as though its citizens thrive on the discontent and chaos wrought from battle. Full of war-mongering civilizations and worlds, times of peace are few and far between.

It is galactic year 23425. Nearly every race in the Known Galaxy has had space travel for centuries. Of all these races, none are more infamous than the Archadians. Theirs is a race bent on conquering the entirety of the galaxy. So far they have been rather successful in their endeavor. Only a few systems and planets have thus far been able to resist the Imperials or remain neutral.

The most notable of these planets is Rozarria, a planet lying in the midst of the solar system of Ivalice. Aside from their own massive military, they are in the habit of hiring pirates, privateers, and mercenaries to assist in their battles. This has lead to the Imperial navy cracking down heavily on the dregs of the galaxy as they fight their war on two fronts; one against the Rozarrian Alliance, a group of planets determined to stop the Imperials, and one against the pirates, heedless to the dangers of rousing the anger of the rogues who would stand against them.

To avoid problems similar to ones we've had elsewhere with people either being too lazy to do it right or not knowing how, so just in case (and for future reference for n00bs), I once painstakingly put together this tutorial for [info]rizumikaru_yomi instead of watching Ghost Hunters.

It was a sad day, but appreciate the sacrifice. It's for your own good.

The Idiots Guide to Starting and Correctly Posting and Tagging a Log:

Posting Instructions for those who need it )

BUT WAIT! There's a step or two after this that an unbelievable amount of you are forgetting.

You have to label your logs with character tags. These are different from "tags" you do while playing. These are important because it makes it easier for everybody to go back and find things, just by clicking on a link.

There are two ways you can do this.

Method One: Just type them in.

The first (and I think fastest) way )

Instead of just filling everything in at once, if you want to, you can post the log and then come back and edit the tags immediately after. These instructions are also for characters joining in on an open log: when you join, you need to add your character's tag.

Method Two: Not sure what the tag is? It's all good.

Using the 'Edit Tags' link )

IMPORTANT: Please keep these things in mind. )
